Service Description: Boone County, Missouri contracted with Surdex Corporation to collect detailed ground elevation data from Aerial LiDAR Sensors for approximately 750 Square Miles to update the county's DEM database. The county required 0.7-meter nominal point spacing (USGS Level 2) high-resolution digital elevation data developed from Aerial LiDAR collection. These data will be used to generate digital elevation models and contours for use in hydraulic/hydrologic models and other purposes to include conservation planning activities and environmental assessments. This classified LAS Data was created from the final controled swath data.
